Last weekend I visited the "Verbier Festival de musique" because I wanted to see Alexey Igudesman. (Violist who does things a little different). I really enjoy his work (eg.: soundtrack of "Sherlock Holmes") and it's great to see him perform on stage and what he does with the orchestra and what not. Just excellent entertainment with good music.

Here are a few vids - you will not regrett it ;)

I liked the first one, seems very folkish in its tune.

Personally I love the works of Phillip Glass. Then there is others like Yann Tiersen, Ludovico Einaudi, Jóhann Jóhannsson, Ólafur Arnalds and others I cannot remember.
Most of these have the piano as the main organ in their musical pieces, love that instrument.
